The Cavaliers had their lowest round of the tournament with a team score of 286 yet it wasn't enough to close the gap during the final day at the NJCAA national golf championship. Darton finished 4 strokes behind Mesa AZ and 8 strokes behind champion South Mountain College. Roy Steinberg finished the last day in fourth place with a 68 and a 3 day 3 under  total of 213, four stokes behind the low medalist.
